Dealing with neuropathy pain but aren’t sure where to start?

At our practice, we take a well-rounded approach to health that involves crafting custom care for people of all walks of life and who are dealing with a variety of problems, including neuropathy.

It’s our goal to help you get back to the active, pain-free lifestyle you love, and we’re confident we can help you get there!

What is Neuropathy?

Neuropathy is the pathological change and demise of the nerves away from the center of the body—i.e., the lower legs, feet, wrists and hands.

At our practice, we use neuropathy therapy to help improve the nerves and symptoms affecting them—including numbness, pain, balance and even restful sleep. Neuropathy therapy is a surgery and drug free option that many of our patients have benefited from in the past

The Process

A patient will begin with a complete chiropractic, neurological, and orthopedic examination. When a patient presents with neuropathy, a peripheral sensory exam will be performed to understand the sensory compromise of the involved areas.

Peripheral oxygen saturation and peripheral temperature regulation will also be evaluated.

Once exam findings are concluded, a report of finding will be performed so the patient can understand what treatment procedures will be used to rehabilitate the peripheral neuropathy and what expectations of recovery can be expected. If the patient agrees to proceed with care, we utilize a course of neuro-rehabilitation with light/laser therapy, and gentle neuro stimulatory techniques to optimize a patient’s functional improvement.

Patients typically see improvement in their symptoms over a four-week period.
